Our Services

At Advanced Care, we take pride in providing alternative and integrative care that can both help and heal your pets. We work closely with pet parents to achieve optimal pet health by balancing mind, body, and overall wellness while using Eastern and Western medicine.

Preventative Care

The foundation of our services is ensuring your pets are happy and healthy. Our preventative care services have allowed us to give our Tulsa pet clients long and healthy lives to spend with their loved ones. Our preventive care strategies include complete physical exams, personalized vaccination protocols, wellness screenings, blood work, heartworm, tick testing, intestinal parasites exams, and individualized parasite prevention strategies.

Emergency And Urgent Care

Here in Tulsa, we can handle minor emergencies and stabilize severe trauma patients. If required, they may be referred to a Tulsa specialty animal emergency center for further care. If you feel that your pet needs emergency treatment, do not hesitate to come immediately. If possible, call us beforehand so our Tulsa emergency team can advise you about transportation and prepare for the care of your pet.

Medical Care

If you find yourself in the Tulsa area, we are here to help your furry friend with any illness or sickness they might encounter. After determining your pet's condition, we will develop a treatment plan that best fits your pet's needs. In addition, our hospitalization facility ensures your pet stays as comfortable and stress-free as possible so that they may recover as quickly as possible.

Surgical Services

Our team provides planned and emergency procedures to ensure the live quality of your loved ones. We strive to make any procedure as safe and painless as possible. All patients undergoing surgery receive a pre-surgical exam, preemptive pain medications, IV catheter and fluids, and monitoring with ECG, blood pressure, temperature, and blood oxygen levels. A technician is present throughout the entire procedure.

Dental Services

Dental care is one of the most overlooked and under-estimated preventative care procedures in veterinary medicine. Proper dental care prevents chronic pain, difficulty eating, and other internal illnesses like heart, liver, and kidney disease. Here at Advanced Care Veterinarian Hospital in Tulsa, we prioritize taking great care of your pets and ensuring that anesthesia is safe as possible.

To ensure that your pet is receiving the greatest care, each pet undergoing a dental cleaning has bloodwork, an IV catheter and fluids, individualized anesthetic medications, and continuous monitoring of ECG, blood pressure, temperature, and blood oxygen levels throughout the procedure. If your pet requires more than a dental cleaning, we can provide extractions and periodontal gel treatments.

In-house Diagnostics

To provide the best care possible, we have the best diagnostic equipment in Tulsa. We can perform complete blood counts, chemistry panels, electrolyte panels, urinalysis, pancreatitis tests, heartworm and tick tests, intestinal parasite exams, and skin and ear diagnostic tests in our hospital to get accurate results as quickly as possible.

Vet X-ray

X-Rays And Ultrasound

Sometimes imaging is required to provide information about the health of your pet. Radiographs (x-rays) are the most common imaging performed. With our digital radiology system, we can take detailed, clear x-rays and get the images very quickly, decreasing stress on your pet.

We can also email the x-rays for consultation with radiologists or surgeons, should the need arise. We also perform ultrasounds in our hospital. Ultrasounds can help provide additional imaging when looking for changes inside the liver, urinary bladder, or kidneys for example.

Rehabilitation

  • Ligament strains

Laser Therapy

Laser therapy is a wonder treatment modality that helps to accelerate the body's natural healing process through photo-bio-modulation (light therapy). Laser therapy is effective in treating chronic conditions, acute conditions, and post-surgical pain and inflammation.

Chiropractic Dog Care

Chiropractic Care

Our Tulsa chiropractic care focuses on abnormal movements of the spine and the effects these restrictions have on the nervous system and entire body. A chiropractic adjustment aims to maximize joint mobility and optimize nervous system function to allow an open exchange of information between the brain (central nervous system) and all the body's muscles, joints, and organs.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the insertion of needles into specific points on the body to produce a healing response. Inserting needles will stimulate nerves, increase blood circulation, relieve muscle spasms, and cause the release of hormones such as endorphins (one of the body's natural pain control chemicals) and cortisol (a natural steroid). These chemical mediators can change the perception of pain and release other chemical mediators that influence organ function. This improved "chemical communication" stimulates healing.

Common Uses of Acupuncture:

  • Musculoskeletal problems, such as arthritis, IVDD, traumatic nerve injury, lameness
  • Respiratory problems, such as feline asthma
  • Skin problems, such as allergic dermatitis and lick granulomas
  • Gastrointestinal problems
  • Reproductive disorders
  • Neurologic disorders, such as seizures, nerve paralysis, incontinence
